According to a market survey conducted by GOLWEE Coconut Oil – Kulasekara Oil Mills (Pvt) Ltd, it has been identified that most of the coconut oil and related products in the domestic market are of low quality. Coconut oil is a widely used product in cooking in Sri Lanka, and a significant amount is consumed annually by the consumer. Also, the use of low-quality coconut oil as a foodstuff can cause several health problems and it also creates a major social problem. In response, Kulasekara Coconut Oil Company has decided to add a range of advanced coconut oil products under the GOLWEE brand to the local market.
